How do I find sports games near me?

Open KROO and it shows the games happening around you: your regular group's weekly game, and open games that still need players. Filter by sport, day and distance, then tap join. It's a sports app, by the way; nothing to do with Kroo the UK bank.

Why not just organise the game in a WhatsApp group?

Because a chat can't introduce you to players you don't already know, can't give you a reliable headcount when "in", "+1" and "maybe" are scattered across 200 messages, and can't split fair teams. KROO does those three things. Keep the chat for the banter.

How does KROO balance the teams?

Kroo Balance splits the confirmed players into even squads using the ratings their teammates gave them after previous games. Ratings are blind, so nobody sees who scored them, including you, and one bad Tuesday doesn't follow you around. If you disagree with the split, drag a player across.

Is KROO free?

Yes. Finding games, joining, organising, balancing teams and your stats all cost nothing, and there are no ads. To be upfront: an optional paid plan for teams and clubs is planned later. Everything in the free tier stays free either way.

Is KROO on iOS and Android?

Both. The App Store and Google Play links appear here at public launch. The app runs fully in English or Hebrew, with a real right-to-left layout. See the Hebrew version of this page.
